The Categories section in the Setup tab allows you to add different categories for Sponsors, Exhibitors, Speakers, Attendees and Photo Album. Adding categories will allow event attendees to easily sort through sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, attendees or photos if its an extensive list.

To navigate to the Categories section, select the 'Setup' tab, followed by 'Categories'.

How do I add a Category?

In this example, we will demonstrate how to add a new category of Exhibitors. The same steps applies for adding new categories of Sponsors, Speakers or Attendees.

1. Select 'Exhibitor' followed by 'Add Category'.

2. Input the Category Name.  Click 'Add Category'.

How do I edit a Category?

In this example, we will demonstrate how to edit a category of Exhibitors. The same steps applies for editing a category of Sponsors, Speakers or Attendees.

1. Navigate to the Exhibitor tab in Categories.  To edit a Category, click the 'Edit' icon.

2. Make the changes to the Category Name and click 'Update Category'.

How do I delete a Category?

In this example, we will demonstrate how to delete a category of Exhibitors. The same steps applies for deleting a category of Sponsors, Speakers or Attendees.

1. Navigate to the Exhibitor tab in Categories.  To delete a Category, click the 'Delete' icon.

2. When prompted whether you are sure that you want to delete the category, select 'Yes'.

How do I organise Categories?

In this example, we will demonstrate how to organise the Exhibitors category. The same steps applies for organising the Sponsors, Speakers or Attendees categories.

1. Navigate to the Exhibitor tab in Categories.  At the selected Category, click the '=' icon and drag the Category to the desired location in the Exhibitor Categories list. 

2. Changes will be updated automatically.

How are categories displayed in the Event App?


The Sponsor, Exhibitor, Speaker and Attendee categories will be displayed in the Event app according to how you have reordered them on the CMS.  Below are some examples:
